Our Youth4Music Leadership Symposium is tomorrow.

Meet Ariyena Sorani, one of the three youth panelists of our panel discussion.

16 year old Ariyena Sorani is the lead singer for the youth indie rock band Blue Opaline. Blue Opaline is currently in studio finishing off their first self titled EP and will be releasing it on all platforms this Spring. They have played in festivals and gigs all around the GTA including the Markham Festival, Springtide Music Festival, The Burdock, The Boathouse, The Supermarket and The Linsmore to name a few. Ariyena is a singer/songwriter, entrepreneur and an advocate for youth musicians. Together with Celia and Annie from Caardia, they developed a grassroots event called Youth Jam Toronto. This event allowed for several youth bands to have an open stage to play and collaborate with each other. It was so successful that it expanded into a Youth Jam in Barrie later that year.
This year the founders of Youth Jam are once again putting on Youth Jam Toronto as well as hosting a Youth Stage at the Open Tuning Festival. **if you are interested in being a performer for Youth Jam Toronto please apply at the link below!!
