MUSIC MONDAY 2025
HOLD ON by TRIUMPH

Hold On the uplifting, inspirational song by classic Canadian hard rock power trio, Triumph has been chosen as the 2025 Music Monday anthem. We are thrilled to announce this collaboration with the band, including a new arrangement by Rik Emmett created for Music Monday.

Why Music Monday?

Created to celebrate the power of music and demonstrate how that power is rooted in school music programs, Music Monday will be observed in many ways across the country – in school classrooms, special school assemblies, group concerts of area schools, concerts of community bands, and choirs with special events.

Each year, hundreds of thousands of children, youth, teachers, parents, music-makers, and community members across Canada join #TogetherInHarmony for Music Monday.

Music has the magic power to connect us, and at 12:30 pm ET, we will gather to sing (and perform) our Music Monday song, Hold On.

Connect, inspire, celebrate, and advocate for music education.
